At Black Mesa Winery & Cidery we are proud to use only 100% New Mexico grown grapes for our wines. Our 'Bite Me Hard Ciders' are made with local apples as well. We work with the greatest diversity of grape sources of any winery in the state. Our partnerships are with more than a dozen vineyards statewide; from the most Northerly commercial vineyard in Abiquiu, New Mexico, down to the "boot heel", and outside El Paso in Las Cruces. We contract with New Mexico's finest vineyards for their most coveted fruit. Which we then process into our award winning wines. Our investment in New Mexico grapes is significant and includes the hand labor involved in processing the fruit, and producing the resulting wine. While our apples for our cider is sourced locally from locations such as Velarde, Chimayo, Penasco, Dixon, and many more. We know you will agree that this labor of love is well worth the effort! We are committed to making compelling wines and ciders of uncompromising quality for your pleasure.
